 Dog Training is an art which takes many many years of love, devotion,  and experience to master. Unfortunately, there are no licensing requirements to protect the consumer who spends their hard earned money to have their dog trained.

There are many inexperienced so-called "dog trainers" who boast of experience they don't have. Our mission at Robinswood Kennels is to see that our clients are completely satisfied so that they can truly enjoy a good relationship with their dog.

Licensing Efforts in New Jersey

New Jersey is one of the few states that does not require any type of licensing or certification for Professional Dog Trainer/Behaviorist. A effort to get legislation passed that would license Dog Trainers is in the process.

This legislation will examine his/her credentials and qualifications. Until the legislation is passed, there is no way to protect the consumer from unqualified individuals in this field. I would like to take this opportunity to inform you of my qualifications.
